ESP Development Log [21/04/09]

I’ve been reading some articles on Neurogenesis and they seem to oversimplify the big word, one thing that they do mention almost everywhere is that good nutrition and exercise is of utmost importance for Neurogenesis to be effective. They never say in which order …

I used to do my nutrition + breakfast “regime” as soon as I wake up and then afterwards tackle the weights and do a light workout to not leave me feeling like a tired zombie all day long (although it does drain my energy levels a bit), this morning I decided to flip those two around. Instead of a light workout, I did an intense 15 minute workout which left me feeling half-dead. Then I took the nutrition and did the rest of the breakfast thing (avokado + a bowl of peas). I actually feel more energetic than usual, muscles completely recovered and the nutrition kicked in a lot quicker than usual, almost instantaneously due to giving my muscles a lot of work to do (which requires energy) and immediately supplementing them with good nutrition afterwards.

Doing it this way also increases focus which brain synchronization further enhances and also prevents me from being hungry the whole time and eating the whole time (every 5-30 minutes) … something which thepeopleschemist.com despises saying:
Restricting feeding times to three meals per day is crucial because during the five hours between meals, the body produces anti-aging and muscle building hormones courtesy of hormone intelligence. Disrupt this timing and you produce fat inflating and age-accelerating ones – courtesy of hormone ignorance.

Grazing is for cows. If you like mimicking fat farm animals (or Dr. Weil) go for it.

Note: A select few “eat all day” advocates offset the fat building effect with an exercise addiction that takes them to the gym every day. This isn’t practical for everyone, and excess exercise wrinkles your face fast.
Instead of eating the whole day due to body screaming for calories to burn, I eat a large meal every 5-7 hours, so far it’s working wonders!

Back to the ESP experiment, I have found that flipping my mouse to the left side makes me more productive, who in their right mind designed the numeric keypad to be on the right AND the mouse to be on the right, I flipped the mouse to the left. For some reason using the mouse with my left hand doesn’t feel awkward or clumsy as it used to (the reason I never used it this way), does this sudden left hand control have something to do with the brain synchronization? I’ll try to do the ambidextrous thing on a daily basis, it makes my brain work a little harder :-D

Just a quick recipe that I’ve discovered along the experimenting with raw foods, the best chocolate shake I’ve tasted consists of raw cacao powder (two teaspoons will work), a couple of bananas (2-3), mixed with some dates to give it that sweet taste and a small amount (teaspoon) of coconut oil to give it that slippery texture (or honey works just as well if you don’t want to use coconut oil, just increase the number of bananas to not make it too sweet). Throw it in a grinder / juicer and voila, you have a smoothie that makes Jamie Oliver’s food look and taste below average.

Will be starting with phase two soon (if I pass the test that I have to do) and will be doing it in conjunction with the Brain Synergy Coaching training, this should give me some new ideas to try, not that my brother’s medical books not have enough interesting things to study :p

ESP Development Log [15/04/09]

Finally had David Wolfe’s book, Eating For Beauty, delivered yesterday morning, can’t even remember when I ordered it (quickly doing a search through the ESP Development Diary, I see that the book was mentioned on the 7th of March, that means approximately 5 weeks ago)
Quickly scanning through the content of the book (something which I usually do to get an overview before I start reading a book), I’m shocked to see how little I do know and that I’ll have to make some more lifestyle changes to not have any “bad” habits (I put it in quotes seeing as some of these “bad” habits are considered health habits to most people).
When I saw the words beans and candida being mentioned in the same sentence, I was shocked (I call the neighbour’s cat Candida as it looks like a black and brown fungus infecting our house, lol). The wait was definitely worth it, can’t wait to start reading it!

Regarding the nutrition, the protein being used is fantastic, no whey protein or soya ever came close to what this natural protein can do in terms of muscle recovery and enhancing endurance.

I’m on day 20 now, really looking forward to the new set of tracks and what effects they’ll be having on me!!!

ESP Development Log [13/04/09]

I’m on day 18 of using the nutrition combined with the brain sync track …

Was at the Easter Vortex trance party this weekend and besides trying to push my body far beyond its limits on the dance floor (when people start asking you what drugs you’re using, staring at your eyes to see if your pupils are dilated or taking you aside to test you for drugs and not finding anything, not even caffeine or alcohol, I can’t help but laugh and telling them “You are what you eat”), some other interesting things happened as well.

Met up with some other raw vegans at the party, exchanged recipes, shared some super-foods and heard some fantastic life changing stories of people who went raw vegan and how much better their life became after they did.

In the lounge area (where they played mostly progressive trance), one kid (age 5-6) was really annoying (this was before the party, we were just sitting there and enjoying the silence), he would take dates, count 1 – 2 – 3 and then throw it in the air and then dive on top of somebody. He was doing it over and over again (probably for about 30 minutes) until he came standing next to me starting to count, as soon as he said 1, I placed my hand on top of his head, he froze for two seconds, then said 0 (instead of 2) and dropped the dates completely forgetting what he wanted to do. He tried the same thing with somebody else, starting to count 1 and then forgetting what he wanted to do and his ability to count going completely haywire, the second time he went one, zero, triewontwoonezeee. He just couldn’t count anymore and dropped the dates every time he started counting and forgot to dive onto the person he was trying to shower with falling dates. Eventually he gave up terrorizing people and went to play soccer with his dad.

Whatever I did to the kid’s memory (I have no idea what happened back there) was for his own safety, diving onto people like that and throwing them with dates can only lead to injuries somewhere along the way.

The party was stopped when the mountain caught fire for some unknown reason and just went red with flames within a few minutes.

Pete, if you’re trying to build a race of super humans, then keep up the good work, I believe you’re on the right track from what I’ve seen so far!

ESP Development Log [06/04/09]

Saturday me and bunch of friends went hiking and tackled almost the whole of Table Mountain (about 8 hours of hiking at a strong steady pace). Yesterday (which was Sunday), me and another friend went mountain biking. The trails are in terrible shape, at the one steep drop I lost control (or the bike slid sideways due to the trail forming a riff) and sling me into the air. I fell, my left eye socket hitting the ground first, followed by a hard knock against the left side of my head (luckily the helmet covered that part of my head, otherwise it would’ve split right open from the impact). Using my hands (thank goodness for mountain biking gloves), I broke the rest of my fall and ended up with black, blue and purple wrists and stiff fingers. (the bull bar on right side of the bike bent all the way around the handle bar from the impact)

When I stood up, everything was blurry and I was hearing voices speaking all at once, as soon as I try focusing on the voices, they disappear and then come back again. Eventually I got back on the bike and cycled back to the wait point where my buddy was waiting.
My focus kept on drifting away while everything in sight went blurry, as soon as things got blurry, the voices would come back saying things that I didn’t understand, trying to focus on them again and trying to figure out what the voices were saying, they would disappear again, this happened all the way to the bottom of the trail. During the single track part, I could hear somebody cycling behind me and saying random words in a language that I didn’t understand, the moment the single track got wider, I pulled over so the person behind me could pass, there was nobody, the voices shifted to some place inside the thick bushes. This was extremely confusing.

I’m assuming that was a concussion? My head is still thumping. My brother noted last night that all the arteries in my face are pumping blood at full steam (they stood out like never before) and that my pupils were extremely large.

I hope this accident doesn’t interfere with the experiment, I must add, the brain synchronization track does alleviate the pain or at least soothes the thumping sensation and helps me stay focused.

I’m still alive, whoohoo!

ESP Development Log [03/04/09]

I’m officially on the nutrition for one week, besides the above mentioned electronics going haywire, I must say, I’m happy that nothing has blown up yet :-D
I managed to catch a glimpse of somebody’s aura two days ago, I’ve never been able to see the energy fields around a person, on Wednesday night I was able, for a short period of time, to see part of the outer energy field of one of my friends!
When I close my eyes, it feels like I’m floating away from my body, it almost feels like I’m at two places at once, only the two places are next to each other. It’s hard to explain, but it literally feels like I’m moving around when in fact I’m sitting still.

The nutrition is fantastic, it’s almost like happy pills that allows me to be extra happy for longer which also causes me to be more outgoing, I’d be thinking of something crazy or about a good memory when suddenly I overflow with happiness that I just have to share it with somebody. I rarely go up to a stranger and start a conversation, since a week ago, it’s happening more and more often that I would just start talking with random people. If you haven’t tried it, trust me, it’s fun and when it backfires, you just laugh about it!

To spice up the nutritional concoction, I found myself some organic raw chocolate powder of which I would throw in a teaspoon or two in the mornings, mmmmm, raw chocolate is one of those things that you need to learn to appreciate, it tastes almost bitter at first until you have your second portion followed by “I’ll never be able to eat normal chocolate again”

Now I’m craving chocolate again, have a fantastic weekend everyone, I’m off to go experiment with chocolate powder and bananas!

ESP Development Log [01/04/09]

I’m not sure if this is related, but my parent’s clock radio died a few days ago, it was the first day I started on the supplements. The deep freeze was also declared dead the same day, but since it’s old, it might just have been coincidence.
This morning my, laptop’s DVD writer ejected for no reason at all, might have been something else that caused it to eject, I don’t know why it did that.
Still no explanation to why the fire alarm above my desk went haywire yesterday, curious to find out if there is a logical explanation.
The world seems slightly different, don’t know if I’m looking at it at a different angle, but things feel different, I feel more in control even though I don’t know why.

Time to put in another 6 hours of brain syncing, let’s see what it does :-D
